Funeral services for Mrs Cora Bell Harris, 97, Tuttle, were held Saturday, Dec 27, in Sowers Memorial chapel with Rev John Higgins officiating. Mrs Harris passed away at 5pm Thursday, Dec 25. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery under direction of the Sevier funeral home of Tuttle.
Mrs Harris came to Oklahoma in 1916, settling at Valliant. She moved to Tuttle in 1925 and was a housewife most of her life. Her husband, Walter A.C. Harris, preceeded her in death in 1956. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Mrs Vera Mae Snow of Tuttle, 2 sisters, Mrs Rosie Sterling & Mrs Alice Dungan, both of Camarillo, Calif, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, & 3 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clyde Jones, Joe Conner, Joe Potter, J.C. Stowe, Vernon Kettler, & Clyde Bowman. Music was furnished by Bun Hoover, Mrs Jim Leggitt, Mrs Theron Jones, Mrs Jack Collins, David Cook, & Miss Theressa Cook.
