Virginia Goff Lokey, 78, of Lenox, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Union Grove Church of God with the Rev. Don Williams and the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating.
Burial will follow in Lenox City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6-8 p.m. at Boone Funeral Home, Highway 41 South.
She was born Dec. 5, 1932, in Berrien County to the late Henry Hilton and Tonnie Bennett Goff. She lived most of her life in Berrien County, was a homemaker and retired from Adcock Pecan. She was a member of Union Grove Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Olin "Jimmy" Lokey, and first husband, James Dale Hiers; daughter, Debbie Hiers Giddens and brother, Herbert Goff.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Dianne Hiers and Tim and Michelle Hiers; two daughters and son-in-law, Gail and Terry Hayes and Jan Hiers all of Lenox; son-in-law, Vernon Giddens of Adel; five sisters, Mary Lou Call of Sparks, Louise Williams of Lenox, Marie Hogan of Tifton, Reba Bennett of Lenox and Patricia Tyler of Nashville; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Goff of Lenox; grandchildren, Sara Baldree of Nashville, Debi Hiers of Lenox, Halee Hiers of Lenox, Jill H. and Jim Paulk of Adel, Justin and Jessica Hiers of Lenox, Robbie and Melinda Rutland of Lenox, and Amanda H. and Lance Williams of Tifton; great grandchildren, James Micajah Paulk, V, Anabella Valentina Paulk, Autumn Nicole Rutland, Austin Dwight Rutland and Hayes Mitchell Williams.
