Bessie D. Waldeck

Mrs. Bessie Darner Waldeck, 89, of Hilltop Rd., died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Memorial Hospital.
The daughter of Thomas and Frances Hensey Darner, she was born Feb. 18, 1880, in Bath Twp. Mrs. Waldeck also had resided in Springboro, West Virginia and North Dakota before returning to Greene County 20 years ago.
She married Err Ralston Waldeck March 7, 1901 and he died July 29, 1961. Mrs. Waldeck attended Old Town United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include a niece, Miss Mabel Harner, with whom she resided, and other nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Lee Heavenrich will conduct services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Neeld Funeral Home, 106 W. Market St., and burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery at Fairborn.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be 3-5 and -9 p.m. Friday.
