Roman Catholic Bishop. He served as Auxillary Bishop of Minneapolis - St. Paul, and Bishop of Davenport. In 1992, two Minnesota women filed suit against him, alleging that he sexually abused them in the 1960's on the grounds of St. Paul Cathedral in Minnesota.
