Mrs. Clara Dimm Whitmire, 78, widow of Charles Whitmire, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1947, at 5 p.m. At Northumberland.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Eva Jeffery, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Emma Mauck, Williamsport; and Mrs. Hannah Scott, Muncy; sisters, Mrs. John Walton, and Mrs. H. E. Reynolds and a brother, Russell Dimm, all of Muncy; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at, 121 South Main Street, Muncy, at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. W. F. Steck, a retired Lutheran minister, will officiate, and burial will be in the Muncy Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
