COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 09/13/2011
SHEEHAN - John "Jack," of Louisville, passed away on September 9, 2011 at the Masonic Home of Kentucky. He was born on December 16, 1922 to the late William & Ruth Albert Sheehan. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Army and worked for Hall's Transfer and Wesley Electric. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Doug Sheehan; and two brothers, Bill & Ronald Sheehan. He is survived by his wife, Renilda Hardy Sheehan; children, Tom Sheehan (Debbie), Theresa Delaney (Dennis), Pat Sheehan (Siobhan) and Mary Jude Borst (Tom); eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 11501 Maple Way, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
