Carl Grassman, 19 years old, died at the home of his father, Ed Grassman, and Mrs. Grassman, south of Douglas, Tuesday morning. He had been ill a year. By his patient suffering he had endeared himself to many friends, who with the family are grieved by his death. Funeral services will be conducted this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Lutheran church at Marshall, and burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery beside his mother, who preceded him in death.
