|Birth: ||May 19, 1922|
|Death: ||Dec. 5, 1939|
Wallace was attending high school when he got sick. On November 25, 1939, he was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and diagnosed with appendicitis. After a doctor performed a few tests he informed Wallace's parents that their son had a perforated appendix and that surgery must be performed immediately as his condition was dire. An appendectomy was performed immediately and Wallace seemed to be on the road to recovery. Just 10 days after surgery, Wallace's condition worsened and doctors discovered that infection had set in around the surgery site. Wallace's body was unable to fight off the infection. According to his death certificate, his ultimate cause of death was peritonitis. He was 17 years, 6 months, and 22 days young when God called him Home.
