Maria Rosa Fernanda Delgado Quintero was the daughter of Jose Vicente Quintero and Maria Maxima Delgado Cruz (married September 29, 1799 in Santa Maria,Parras De La Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico).
Her father, Jose Vicente Quintero was the son of Anasthacio Quintero and Anna Maria Francisca Liendo. His father and mother (and Fernanda's grandparents) were Juan Antonio Liendo and Ana Maria De Arispa, who had siblings: Joseph Francisco Sabino Quintero Liendo, Maria Anna Josepha Quintero Liendo, and Josef Ygnacio Torquato Liendo who married Maria Yldephonza Garibaldo.
Fernanda was the wife of James Alexander Hill. The couple lived in Meoqui, Mexico where their children were born.
We know she had at least one brother, Jose Marcello Quinteros Delgado.
Her husband's obituary states that she is a cousin to the great statesman, Henry Clay.

The three eldest children were sent to their grandparents, Humphrey Hill and Mary Alexander in Madison County, Kentucky to be educated.
