| Birth: | 1882, Italy | | Death: | May 11, 1963 Monmouth County, USA | Opera Singer. He was a famous tenor who made his debut as 'Alfredo' in Traviata in 1907. He was a student of famed teacher Antonio Cotogni. Thomas Edison recorded him as one of his famed Italian Tenors series on cylinders and diamond discs. He had a ticket to sail on the "RMS Titanic" (still in his family's possesion) but missed the sailing due to a opera performance scheduling change. Among the Edison recordings are "Vesti la Giubba" (I Pagliacci), "Fra Poco a me Ricovero" (Lucia di Lammermoor) and "O Solo Mio."
