"E. HENRY (HI) JINKS - GENESEO: E. Henry Jinks, 61, of Wichita, died Thursday at Wesley Medical Center after a short illness. Born March 15, 1909, at Geneseo, he married Viola Maxine Wilt, June 21, 1941, at Wichita. She died in 1957. He was a bookkeeper for the A.C. Houston Lumber Co., Wichita, and had lived here for several years. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Florence; Masonic Lodge; American Legion, veteran of WWII. Survivors include a son, Michael, Wichita; daughter, Pamela, Wichita; brothers: Albert, Grand Rapids, MN; Wilbert, Alliance, NE; Paul, Chicago, IL; sisters: Mrs. George Adler, Wichita; Mrs. O.E. Smith, El Dorado; Mrs. Esther Thurman and Mrs. Howard Nelson, Topeka, KS. Graveside serviced will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence; Rev. Curtis Fulton officiating. Friends may call Saturday evening until service time at the Draper-Cannon Funeral Home, Newton, KS."
