Rosie loved to play with the laser pointer toy and would climb up high on anything, as you can see by the picture of her on the moose antlers that were hanging on the wall. She had soft and fluffy gray fur that was as soft as cotton. She had quite a personality and would squeak instead of meow.
Rosie suffered from a severe form of stomatitis (an infection of the teeth, gums, mouth). She was diagnosed in January 2011. She was fine until early summer and then it got worse. After all the treatments, care and love, on 9/6/11, I brought her to the vet's knowing that she wasn't coming home with me. My heart was so very heavy with hurt, and I cried so hard. It was hard putting her down, but knew it was for the best because she was in tremendous pain.
I love you, sweet Rosie, and was blessed, even if it was a short time, to have had you in my life. I'll see you someday on Rainbow Bridge. Please wait for me.
