The Pilot, Blair, Nebraska April 18, 1923
Mr. And Mrs. Dave Harding lost their little son, Edwin Franklin, last Thursday, he having choked to death while trying to eat a piece of apple. The funeral was held at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rev j. a. Johnson officiating. He was thirteen months old, having been born in this city March 18th 1922.

Edwin Franklin Harding, infant son of David H. and Emma M. Harding, was born in Harrison county, Iowa March 13, 1922, and died April 12, 1923, aged one year and thirty days. Edwin was a sweet little fellow, the pet of the house. His death was an accident, having gotten choked and thus very sudden and very sad. He leaves to mourn this seemingly untimely death his father, mother, two brothers, Arthur and David, and one sister, Violet, and other friends and relatives. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church last Saturday at 2 p.m., and burial made in the Blair cemetery.
