Richard C. Wiehert Sr., age 48, of 3977 Mueller Rd., DeForest, passed away Saturday, September 10, 1983 in a Madison hospital. He worked as a grinder and polisher for Crepaco Co., Lake Mills. He served in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Wanda; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard C. Weihert, Rt. 1, Lake Mills, WI; seven children by a previous marriage; four sons, Jeffrey of Sun Prairie, Richard C. Jr. of Keyser, Jamie and Michael of Sun Prairie; three daughters, Brenda of Sun Prairie, Tammie, of Pennsylvania, and Tina of Madison; two sisters, Bernice of Waterloo, WI, Sharon of LaMollie, IL; four brothers, Leonard Jr. of Big Springs, TX, Jerome of Mesa, AZ, Darrell of Waterloo, WI, and Neal of Jefferson, WI; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 1983 at 2:00 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie, with the Rev. Ardin D. Laper officiating. Burial will be in the Sun Prairie Memory Gardens where military rites will be held. Friends may call on Monday, September 12, 1983 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Tuschen Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., Sun Prairie. WSJ 9/12/1983
