Final rites for Mrs. Vera Earl of 870 Bellefontaine-av, former manager of Earl's Beauty Shoppe, who died Thursday in her residence following an illness of five years, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lewis Memorial chapel with Rev. Gerald Coen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Mrs. Earl, who had resided in Lima for 40 years, was a member of the American Legion Women's auxiliary, and the salon No. 207-8 et 40.
She is survived by her husband, Vivian, and one daughter, Rita Jean, at home; one brother, S. O. Hover of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and a sister, Mrs. E. A. Riopelle of Detroit; her mother, Mrs. Clara Hover, and her grandmother, Mrs. Jane Bice, of 853 Bellefontaine-av.
Salon No. 207-8 et 40 will hold memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Lewis funeral home.
Pallbearers for the Saturday services include Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schugg, Mr. and Mrs. J. Weaver, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Deshler, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Shiek, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Johoske and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Conner. Women will serve as honorary pallbearers and the men as active.
The body will remain at the funeral home until time for services.
