CARMEN LARSEN, 87
Carmen V. Larsen, 87, of Blair, died Saturday, August 12, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.
Carmen V. Larsen was born July 8, 1919, in rural Herman to Chris and Caroline (Kay) Andersen. She attended the Brodersen New England schools and graduated from Herman High School.
She married Clifford Larsen, February 14, 1940, in Blair. They lived and farmed in the Herman area until moving to Blair in 1983. She was a member of the Herman Community Church, Herman Fireman Auxiliary, Blair Eagles and a volunteer at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home. Mrs. Larsen enjoyed hosting family over the holidays and going on scenic drives with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford; son and daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Judith Petersen and brother, Donald Andersen.
