Mrs. William G. Meyer

Mrs. William (Helena) Meyer, 77, of 2281 N. 8th St., died shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.

A native of the Town of Centerville (Manitowoc County), she was born June 8, 1885, a daughter of the late August and Henrietta Sachse Fisher, attended the district school, and was confirmed at the Lutheran Church in the Town of Centerville.

On Oct. 13, 1907, she was married to William G. Meyer of the Town of Meeme at Bethlehem Reformed Church in the Town of Schleswig. The ceremony was preformed by the Rev. Caleb Hauser a brother-in-law of Mr. Meyer.

The couple operated a farm in the Town of Meeme until 1937, lived at Kiel for a number of years, then moved to Sheboygan. Mr. Meyer died Feb. 22, 1961.

She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and the Ladies aid Society of the church.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Walter O. (Florence) Spindler of Sheboygan, Mrs. William F. (Evangeline) Scholz of New Holstein, Mrs. Willard O. (Bernice) Wagner of rural Cleveland, Wis., and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. Louis Huber, pastor of St. Mark Lutheran Church, will officiate and burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 3 p.m. Friday.
