He was a casualty of the 1783 Yellow Fever Epidemic that took the lives of an estimated 2,000 Philadelphians. His house still stands as a Historical Landmark at 244 South 3rd Street, between Spruce and Walnut Streets, in Philadelphia. (bio by: K)
