Mother of Mrs. Elliott Dies
Mrs. Adah Mack Bullard, 53, wife of Thomas J. Bullard, Theresa, died in the Theresa hospital last Wednesday afternoon following a heart attack on Dec. 23.
The daughter of the late George and Nancy Cole Mack, she was born in Antwerp on July 13, 1888 and moved to Philadelphia as a child, where she attended school.
She was married to Mr. Bullard on Sept. 16, 1914, and the couple lived on a farm in Sterlingville until the government took over the land in the Pine Camp expansion.
They then moved to Philadelphia.
She was a member of St. Joseph's church.
Surviving, besides her husband, are four daughters:
1. Mrs. Raymond (Alyce) A. Elliott,
2. Cleveland, O.;
3. Betty C. Bullard, Syracuse;
4. K: Patricia Bullard, student at Albany state teachers college, and
5. Ruth V. Bullard, who resides at home;
a sister, Miss Jennie M. Mack, Bedford Hills, and three brothers, Edison D. Mack,. Watertown;. George Mack, Depauville, and Bert W. Mack, White Plains, and a granddaughter, Alyce Rae Elliott, Cleveland, O.
The funeral was held Saturday morning at 9:30 at the home and a half hour later at St. Joseph's Church. Interment was in Sterlingville cemetery.
