Mrs. Frances Neville Barker, 219 State street, died Wednesday in the Carthage hospital, where she had been a patient for two days. She had previous been a patient in the Feistal nursing home for one week and had been ill for two months.

The funeral was held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. James church, Carthage, following prayer services at the Bossuot funeral home. Carthage, burial was at Steriingville.

Mrs. Barker is survived by a son, Sgt. Harold Barker, enroute to Saudi Arabia with the Air Force; three sisters. Mrs. Carl (Irene) Tripp, Pleasant Lake; Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Stott. Carthaee and Mrs. Millard (Eliza) Maurer, Deer River; a stepmother, Mrs. Vera Twinig, Carthage; five stepbrothers, Arthur F., Harry E. Leon, Harold and Leslie C. Neville, all of Carthage and two step-sisters. Mrs. George (Mary) Stiner and Mrs Iceland (Hazel) Martin, both of Carthage.

Mrs. Barker was born in Philadelphia, a daughter of Frank and Charlotte Maine Neville.
