South Northamptonshire Borough
|Death: ||Dec. 1, 1682|

From what I can determine, the original creator of this memorial intended the Thomas Reeves of this memorial to be the following person:
Thomas or James Reeves was born at Caldercote, Northampton, England 1624. His parents were Robert Reeves and Agnes.
He married Mary Purrier 1645 at Southold, Suffolk, New York. Mary Purrier was born at Olney, Buckingham, England 1628 daughter of William Purrier and Alice .
Thomas & Mary were the parents of 12 children:
-Thomas Reeves born 1637.
-Mary Reeves born 1644.
-Thomas Reeves born Abt 1646.
-Hannah Reeves born 7 Dec 1648.
-William Reeves born 1648.
-James Reeves, Sr born 1650.
-Mary Reeves born Abt 1654.
-Thomas Reeve born 1654.
-Hannah Reeve born Nov 1657.
-Isaac Reeves born 1658.
-Joseph Reeve born 1659.
-John Reeves born 1660.
Thomas or James Reeves died 1 Dec 1682 at Southold, Suffolk, L.I., New York .
Mary Purrier died Bef 13 May 1696 at Mattituck, Suffolk, Ny, Long Island. (Info from http://www.familycentral.net/index/family.cfm?ref1=5692:1413&ref2=5692:1414)
This Thomas Reeves is a different Thomas Reeves from the one found in Springfield Cemetery, MA (see Memorial Thomas Reeves of Springfield, MA. It is not unusual for people to bear the same names or to have similar birth or death dates especially when common names are involved.
The original creator of this memorial was careful in his research and from what I can determine he based his memorials upon source documents. Unfortunately, those documents do not appear to be on-line. His original information appears under "Notes" in the memorial. Due to the original creator's diligence, I am very reluctant to change this Thomas into other Thomas Reeves.
Note: Birth: 1624 in Caldecote, Northampton, England-Death: 1 DEC 1682 in Southold, Long Island, NY-Married: 1645 in Southold, Long Island, NY.

Plot: Cemetery has no record of a marker or of this person. Does not mean he is not buried here. There was a survey done in the 1950s and it is not in their records.
