Swen Frederiksen Dead at Orofino
Orofino - Swen A. Frederiksen, 57, Cavendish farmer and woods worker and the brother of Clearwater County Sheriff Chris A. Frederiksen, died at 1:55 Friday afternoon at Clearwater Valley Hospital of a heart attack. He had suffered several heart attacks at home at Cavendish earlier in the day and another upon reaching the hospital.
He died 1-1/2 hours after he was admitted.
Mr. Frederiksen was born Oct. 14, 1903, at Copenhagen, Denmark, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Frederiksen. The family came to this area in 1908 and farmed at Cavendish and Mr. Frederiksen later farmed there.
He was married to Wanda Daniels at Lewiston Sept. 25, 1935. They were divorced in 1948. They lived at Cavendish until 1940 when Mr. Frederiksen sold his farm and came to Orofino to work for the Clearwater County Road Department until 1955. In the last year of working for that department, he bought another farm and moved back to Cavendish.
Also surviving are two daughters, Anna Jo Frederiksen and Erleen Frederiksen, both of Orofino; one son Clinton of Cavendish; and the father of Orofino.
The funeral will be held Monday a 2 at Gilbert's Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Presnall of the United Brethren Church of Cream Ridge officiating. Burial will be at Teakean Cemetery.
