"Henry S. Brubaker, one of the best and most widely known residents, of near Ebys Church, in Rapho township, Lancaster county, died at his home in the 80th year of his age. Mr. Brubaker was quite an expert as a botanist and during the past 15 years he gathered specimens for many of the state's leading colleges, and also for state authorities. He was a member of the Mennonite Church. He is survived by five sons, as follows: Benjamin, residing on the homestead farm, two miles east of Mt. Joy; Peter and Abram, of Mt. Joy, and Elmer and Henry, of Rapho."
