Lola Margaret Browning, 96 of Idaho Falls, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 25, 1915 in Hyrum, Utah, the 8th child of William Alvin and Maria Danielsen McBride.
In January 1930 at the age 0f 14 she married Milton Dale "Mickey" Hansen. They had two children, Clara Marie and Keith, and were later divorced. On September 3, 1949 she married Rulon Browning, they lived in St. Anthony and later in Twin Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1972. In 1995 after Rulon's death she moved to Idaho falls to be near her daughter.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a great love for the gospel. She loved her family and so enjoyed being around them, especially on holidays and family outings. She loved to read and was so lost when her eye sight failed.
She is survived by her daughter Clara Marie (Gene) Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID; a son, Mac Browning of Boise, ID; a daughter-in-law Joan Browning of Gilbert, AZ; 18 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren and 66 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Browning.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lincoln 3rd Ward Chapel (2545 Mesa St., Idaho Falls) with Bishop Willard Berry officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Rire-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary (St. Anthony.)
