Well Known Lady Of Reynoldsville Dies Yesterday
Mrs. Rhoda Eleanor Dean Eiselman, 70, of Reynoldsville, passed away yesterday afternoon at one o'clock, death being due to an illness of several weeks duration. Mrs. Eiselman, who was born in 1856, near Summerville, was the wife of the late John A. Curry, and the second wife of the late Henry Eiselman. For the past fifteen years she has been a resident of Reynoldsville, and she was well and favorably known in that city. She entered into the social and church life of the community, and her influence and leadership will be missed.
The deceased is survived by three daughters and one son: Mrs. Cyrus Wells, of Reynoldsville; Mrs. Nora Eiselman, of DuBois; Mrs. Maude McGee, of Emerickville; and Clare Curry, of Erie.
The funeral services will be held at two o'clock on Saturday afternoon from the Reynoldsville Methodist Episcopal church. Rev. W. V. McLean, pastor of the church will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Rumbarger cemetery.
She was the daughter of James J. & Madelina (Leany) Bish Dean and had a brother, William H. Dean. (contributed by Marie Post)
