Irvin Barnum was born in Hudson,
Wisconsin, in 1854, and came to this,
state with his parents in 1862. In his
younger days he worked in the pineries,
and on the river, saved his earnings,
purchased a farm, and has always been
in easy circumstances financially. He
was unmarried and lived alone on his
farm, but he was not unsociable and
had many friends and not a single
enemy.
He is survived by four brothers—Wentworth
of Spencer Brook, Rodney of St. Paul,
Warren of Texas and William J. of Wisconsin.
