On October 25, 1924 in St. Stephen, N.B. George Washington McNelley, 43, married Mrs. Annie Harris, both of Calais, Maine.
A carpenter, George had been born in Milltown, Maine to Charles, a Baring native, and to Esther Isabell Phinney.
He had been divorced since October 25, 1924.
A nurse, Annie had been born in Milltown, Maine, to Calais native Charles Harris and to Laura Bailey.

In the 1920 U.S. Census, Charles L. Harris, 59, born Maine, parents born Canada, was living in Washington County, Maine, with Laura E., 64, born Maine, parents born Maine; divorced daughter Annie M. Harris, 34, born Maine; and niece Florence V. Theriault, 13, born Maine,father born Canada, mother born Maine.

In the 1910 U.S. Census, Charles L. Harris, 49, born Maine, father born Maine, mother born Canada, was living in Ward 5, Calais, Maine, with Laura E., 50, born Maine, parents born Maine; son-in-law Willis Hughes, 39, born Maine, parents born Canada; daughter Annie M. In the 1860 U.S. Census, Isaac Bailey 47, born Maine, was living in the 1st Ward, Calais, Maine with Margaret J., 34, born N.B.; Roseanna, 17, born Maine; William, 14, born Maine; Reuben, 11, born Maine; Laura E., 3, born Maine.

Laura was the daughter of Isaac Titcomb Bailey and Margaret Smith.
