Noted Spanish writer. He was forced to exile during Spanish Civil War. He moved to France, and later to United States, where he taught as teacher of Spanish Literature at the University of Nuevo México. Among his books: "Réquiem por un Campesino Español," "Crónica del Alba," and "La Luna de los Perros." (bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni) 
Cremated, Ashes scattered at sea.
