April Nicole Russell, 33, of Concord, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at her home.
Ms. Russell was born July 1, 1978 in Mecklenburg County to William Arthur "Art" Russell and Marion Ann Wilson Russell.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, M. J. Wilson, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Whitney and Ruth Russell.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m., Monday, August 29, at United Love Baptist Church on Flowes Store Road of Midland. The funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary officiated by Rev. Marvin Tyson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at their home at 10117 Pioneer Mill Road, Concord.
Survivors include her parents, Art and Ann, of the home; her loving son, Justin Lomax, of the home; her brother, Andy Russell, of Mt. Pleasant; her stepbrother, Butch Russell, of Charlotte; maternal grandmother, Juanita S. Wilson, of Harrisburg; and special nephews, Andrew and Abe Russell, of Mt. Pleasant.
A trust fund will be set up for her son, Justin, at Wachovia.
