The native of Germany worked at Maiers Men's Ware for 16 years, formerly at Hillman's China Store, was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society, and the widow of John P. Hoff, who died in 1961, and Fred H. Franke, who died in 1974.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Jean Hille of Fort Wayne; stepsons, Richard H. Franke of Indianapolis and Ramond E. Franke of Fort Wayne; a sister, Margaret Harz of Fort Wayne; a brother, Carl Krueger of Carlsbad, N.M.; nine stepgrandchildren; and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.
