Services for Mary Ellen "Razz" Duncan, 82, of Killeen will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ on North W.S. Young Drive in Killeen.
She left to join her heavenly Father surrounded by her family on July 31, 2009.
Razz attended schools in Littlefield and Rosebud and graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in English. She enjoyed teaching English to the seventh and eighth grade children of Killeen. She was married to Jack Barton Duncan Sr. on Sept. 1, 1950. From that day forward she dedicated herself to raising and nurturing her family.
Razz was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a trusted friend and homemaker. She loved the Lord all her life and looked forward to being with Him in his glory. Even at the end, surrounded by her family and friends, she was still willing to offer encouraging words.
Survivors include her sons and daughter, York Duncan and his wife, Joanie, Penny Duncan Love and her husband, Johnnie, and Bart Duncan and his wife, Posey; her grandchildren, Garner, Garrett, Grant and McCaye Duncan; her brother, John B. Rasberry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack, her mother and father, Ivy and John Rasberry, and her sister, Laverne Newton.
