RACHEL ANN (STAHL) REDDICK
Rachel Ann was the daughter of Lucinda and Jackson Stahl. On March 6, 1864 she married William Henry Harrison Reddick, son of Clarissa (Tate) and George Washington Reddick. They were married in Decatur, Adams County, Illinois.
To this union was born nine children: George Washington, b.1866; Clark Turner, b.1868; Emmer Leonidas, b.1870; Andrew Jackson, b.1872; Frank Gilbert, b.1874; Lillie Mae, b.1877; Merritt Jamison, b.1879; William Henry Harrison, b.1881; and Leora Della, b.1886.
William died in 1903, Rachel continued to live in Louisa COunty until her death in 1930. Rachel left a half-brother, Louis, of Paonia, Colorado; 70 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Letts Methodist Episcopal Church, and had lived in the Letts community for 24 years before her passing. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Altekruse, after being ill for one week.
