ANDERSON, Ind.--Bessie Frances Levi, 78, 732 E. School St., Anderson, died Saturday in St. John's Medical Center, Anderson, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Levi was born in Summitville and had lived in Anderson since 1953. She owned and operated the Innisdale Grocery for 15 years. She was a member of the Summitville Wesleyan Bible Holiness Church and the Wilkinson Brotherhood.
Survivors include a daughter, Gail Ricker (husband: Gerald), Anderson; a sister, Charlotte Vetor, Summitville; six brothers, Max and Garland Vetor, both of Anderson, Phil Vetor, Summitville, Ted Vetor, Middletown, Donald Vetor, Washington, and Walt Vetor, Alexandria; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Lawrence R. Levi, died in 1991. Her parents, Charles and Mabel Pyle Vetor, are deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Summitville Wesleyan Bible Holiness Church, with Rev. Mark Cravens officiating. Burial will be in Vinson Memorial Cemetery, Summitville. Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Owens Funeral Home, Alexandria, and before services Thursday at the church.
