Lucy Crocket, 77, Russell Springs, died Wednesday, December 13, 2000 at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown.
She was born March 16, 1923, in Wayne County, to the late Letty Garner Bell and the late Granville Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Crockett.
She was a homemaker and a member of Indian Hills Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Herbert Crockett and Leland Crockett, both of Russell Springs, Thomas Crockett, Indianapolis, Indiana and Hobart Crockett, Evansville, Indiana; two daughters, Pearlie McQueary and Orpha Polston, both of Russell Springs; three brothers, Isaac Bell and Lee Bell, both of Monticello and Obie Bell, New Castle, Indiana; one sister, Betty Criswell, Monticello; eightteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, December 16, 2000, 10:00 a.m. at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Olin Hopper officiating.
Burial was in Holt Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brian Finn, Steve Hudson, Milze McGowan, Rodger Hadley, Ralph Hadley and Gary Badgley.
Bernard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
