6/2/2020, Accepted suggested edit to link burial unknown memorial for Samuel Standish. Possibly due to no response from the memorial creator, relevant bio information to be considered regarding Samuel Standish was added in the flowers section of the memorial by Linda Sue Standish, on 1 Nov 2017:
“Regarding his year of death, researchers should check the the "Silver Book" for Myles Standish, page 50-51 (Mayflower Families Through Five Generations, Vol. 14, compiled by Russell L. Warner) which uses tax records to show that as of 1771 he was still living. Adequate records did not exist to determine his year of death. The Silver Book did make the following note: "NOTE: The 1790 census of Granville, Washington Co., NY lists SAMUEL STANDISH 1-2-1 and ASA STANDISH 1-2-1." This may or may not be this Samuel and his son Asa, but inadequate records exist to establish who they are.Samuel Standish is my 7th great uncle.“
Will leave the business of sorting out the death date and moving the information added in the flowers section to the bio to FAG member, Standish and the memorial creator.
