Mrs. John Linster was born in Leaf Valley Township, Douglas County, January 21, 1888, the daughter of John and Josephine Kott. On June 28, 1910 she was united in marriage to John Linster. Mr. and Mrs. Linster operated the General Store at Millerville until their retirement. Mr. Linster preceded her in death November 26, 1967. For the past eight months Mrs. Linster has been a resident of the Bethany Home in Alexandria, where she passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 1970 at the age of 82 years.
She is survived by three daughters and one son: Theresa (Mrs. Lawrence Gebur) of Fergus Falls, Minn.; Marion (Mrs Charles Zaviska) of Forada, Minn.; Al Linster of Minneapolis; Lorraine (Mrs. Ed Drahos) of Forada, Minnesota; also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers. She was preceded in death by seven sisters and brothers.
Rosary services on July 2 and Funeral services on July 3, 1970 were at the Seven Dolors Church in Millerville with Rev. Joseph Percic officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Stephen Linster, Leslie Linster, Leo Hoehn, Romes Weatherhead, Douglas Weatherhead and Leander Stariha.
