Courtesy of the Blair County Genealogy Society Library and the Grandview Cemetery Interment Records the following obituary: "H. Grove Cox, former Ironsville resident died Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Leeper Nursing Home, Tyrone (Blair Co., PA) after a lenthy illness. He was born July 26, 1878 at Curtin (Centre Co., PA) the son of Marshall and Margery Evans Cox. On Nov 18, 1903 he was married to Adessa Waite of Ironsville, who died in 1925. He had been a resident of theis area since his youth. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Myrtle King of Bellefonte (Centre Co., PA) and a number of nieces and newphews. He wa a one time employee of Miller Bros, Tyrone (Blair Co., PA). Funeral servive will be held Wed. at 2:30 p.m at the Graham & Getz funeral home. In charge will be Rev. Roger Q Burtner. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery (Tyrone, Blair Co., PA). Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. tomorrow."
