Virginia Charlene Binger, 75, of Ada OK, died August 17, 2011, at her home. She was born December 17, 1935, at Harden City OK to Charlie and Addie Doyal Davis. She graduated from Stonewall High School in 1953 and then moved to New York City where she served in the United States Army. She served for two years in the Women's Army Corps and held the rank of Private. During her time in the army, she met and married Staff Sergeant Gerard A. Binger on January 23, 1955, at Fort Jay NY. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1965. Mrs. Binger worked as a legal secretary for Harold Hall, attorney in Ada, as well as Parsons and Parsons in Shawnee OK.

Survivors include her children Catherine Prather, Dianna Haney and husband David, David Binger and wife Patti, and Wayne Binger; grandchildren Mandy Simmons, Taryn Haney, Allen Binger, and Allison Binger; great-grandchild Devanee Simmons; sisters Anne Johnson, Barbara McMeans and husband J.L, Pat Fortner and husband Kenneth, and Kay Henry and husband Wayne; brother John Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Jimmy Davis, and son-in-law Bob Prather.
