Ed Hart died at his home here from the effects of a stroke of paralysis suffered a week ago at the age of 59. Funeral services held at Mr. Lebanon Cemetery under the auspices of the Masons.
He was a resident of Gibsland for many years, being identified with the lumber business of this section and the firm of Hart and Sons, handling feed stuff and groceries.
Survived by his widow; five daughters, Misses Susie, Alice, Ruth, Mrs. Hawley, and Mrs. Charley Conn; four sons, Leo, Edd, Richard, and Harold Hart. (Dateline Gibsland, La., July 8)
