Mrs J E Watton Called By Death Sunday Morning
Last Rites Tuesday Afternoon From First Church of Christ
Mrs Mary Blanche Watton, 48, died Sunday morning at 3:10 o'clock at her home, following an illness of eight weeks.
Mrs Watton was well known and was a member of the First Church of Christ.
The deceased is survived by her husband, J Earl Watton; three daughters, Miss Elsie Watton, of the home, and Mrs Goldie Lynn and Mrs Bernice Gheen, both of this city; one son, Carl Watton, also of this city; two brothers, Alvin Norris, Pomeroy, and Ernest Norris, of Triadelphia; three sisters, Mrs Lee Maxwell, Triadelphia, Mrs Florence Wagoner, this city, and Miss Lelia Norris, of Columbus, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Church of Christ, with Rev Paul Runk officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. The body was removed to the late residence Sunday afternoon by the Dean funeral home.
