Funeral services for Mrs. Tommie Sue Paul will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday September 29, 2005 at Pineville Park Baptist Church with Brother Kevin Paul officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery, Deville under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Mrs. Paul, 68, of Pineville, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005 at her residence after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Mrs. Paul was a faithful member of Pineville Park Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir and was a member of the "Joy" Sunday School Class. She was a faithful, loving wife and mother, and a caring grandmother. She will be greatly missed. We will see her again in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, V. T. and Grace Holt and grandchildren, Laurah Nichole Paul, Kayla Amber Futrell and Christopher Thomas Paul.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Elias Paul; her sister, Joyce Holt Dorroh and husband, Billy Joe; her children, James Steven Paul and wife, Geri, Karen Grace Pharis and husband, Tom, Lisa Dale Watson and husband, Dieter, Mark Loyd Paul and wife, Mary Kay, Lt. Col. Thomas Edward Paul and wife, Stephanie, Joyce Ann Bailey and husband, Bobby, Aimee Marie Paul and husband, Jim Colvin and Susan Yvonne Paul and fiance', Ricky Rawls; grandchildren, Meagan Lindsay Pharis, Morgan Lynn Pharis, Jennifer Lynn Johns and husband, Marcus, Heather Amanda Futrell, Sarah Michelle Paul, Hannah Elizabeth Paul, Clara Grace Paul, Cheyenne Marie Bailey, Samantha Ann Colvin, Christian Bradley Colvin, Jacy Yvonne Morace and Kacy Marie Morace; her great grandchild, Dalton Michael Johns; her niece, Jochelle Faulkner and husband, Danny and their children, Danielle and Kelsey and her nephew, Joey Dorroh and wife, Kristy and their children, Billy and Jed.
Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville and from 11:00 am Thursday until time of service at the church.
