Sarah Pearl's parents were John Aikman Pearl and Charlotte 'Charity' Parker. They were married, on 15 Nov 1830, in Laurel County, Kentucky. Her mother died on 02 Jun 1916, in London, Kimble, Texas. Sarah's father died on Feb 1878, in Mason, Texas.
Sarah Adeline 'Addie' Pearl was married to Reuben 'Rube' Hornsby Boyce in 1877. Her husband was born on 08 Jan 1853, in Williamson County, Geogetown, Texas. Reuben died on 23 May 1927, in Coahoma, Howard, Texas.

Not long after Sarah and Reuben were married did they leave Texas and traveled to find good work.
