HENDERSON, Louise M. (Moultane) of Bay City, Michigan passed away after a lengthy illness Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Brian's House at the age of 75. The daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Nelson) Moultane, Louise was born May 26, 1934 in Bay City. She was married to Andrew Briggs January 26, 1956; he preceded her in death March 27, 1956. She then married Marlyn Henderson June 28, 1963; he preceded her in death August 30, 2000. Louise enjoyed camping at the Riverbend Campground in Omer for many years. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and many close friends; Louise will be dearly missed. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Victoria (Richard) Bartkowiak and Richard Henderson; her grandchildren: Kari (Eric) Aloia, Kristi (Henry) Ritter, and Kelli Bartkowiak; her great-grandchildren: Eric, Hailey, and Owen; her brothers and sisters: Elizabeth Bowker, Marie Rabideau, Arthur (Kathy) Moultane, William Moultane, and Kathleen Rosebush; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husbands and parents, Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Moultane; her sisters: Arlene Bean and Virginia Haapala, and her brothers-in-law: Larry Bowker, Paul Henderson, and Bob Henderson. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Schisler, Dr. Howland, Dr. Raza, and the staff of Bay Special Care, BRMC, and Brian's House for the loving care shown to Louise. The Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Stapish Cederberg Funeral Home East. Rev. Fr. Dale A. Orlik will officiate with Rite of Committal to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Bay Special Care Hospital or Brian's House of Bay City.
