to Elisha Thomas. They also lived in
Stokes Co.,N.C. til 1791. Jan.10,1791,
they sold,157 1/2 acres along Hewins Creek
to John Webster, land acquired from
her Aunt Susanna Tillery
on March 8,1789.Before 1789 they were
tenants on the property.

3.James Barbary Zeigler b.1770 Culpeper Co.,Va
d. 1863 Forsyth Co.,N.C.
married: Susannah Zimmerman b.1765 Va.
d.1860 Forsyth Co.,N.C.
Married in Va. and lived there,
he had two sons and two daughters
born before 1800 in Va.
Received a Land Grant of 97 acres
from The State of North Carolina
Nov.20,1795. Moved to Stokes from
Culpeper, Culpeper Co., Va.
Lived in Stokes Co.,District until 1848,
the land didn't change,Forsyth Co.,
was formed in 1849.
Putting him and his land in Forsyth Co.
May have used the last name
of Ziglar or Zigler.
