Arlene J. Hancharik of Ottsville died Friday in St. Luke's Hospice, Lower Saucon Township. She was 83. For 64 years, she had been the wife of Stephen Hancharik, actively helping him with his business, Stephen Hancharik & Sons. In her earlier years, she had worked for the Pipersville Inn, Frenchtown Porcelain Works and Eastern Rotor Craft, Doylestown. She was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Avon, Conn., a daughter of the late Gordon and Luella Wright LeFevre. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Ottsville, and of the church's altar and rosary society. She was a former president of the Mother's Guild for St. John School.
