| Birth: | 1863 | | Death: | 1938 Washington, USA |  Charles Wilson Adair was born 11 Mar 1863 to Harvey A and Maryett (Trumbull) Adair. At the time of his birth, Charles had five living siblings (three siblings died before his birth). His twin, Ida Maryett, died 15 days later. His mother died 18 months after Charles' birth (14 Oct 1864); his father, Harvey married Rebecca Joquay in 1865. The Adairs lived on a prosperous farm in Washington Township, Noble County, Indiana.
On 7 February 1884, Charles married Harriet Gazelda (Hattie) Mullins. They lived in Noble County until the mid-1890's when they headed West. They settled near Loomis in Okanogan County, Washington. There they raised stock and hay and six children. Charles and Hattie moved to Port Orchard in the 1930. She died 20 April 1937 and he followed 19 months later on 19 November 1938.
The Adairs' children are: Jennie Zoe Adair Alderman (Jan 1885 – 1961, married W W Alderman), Blanche Pearl Adair Owens (18 Jun 1887 – Feb 1975, married Ralph Owens), James Thurlow Adair (3 Jun 1889 – 26 May 1949), Icie Fern Adair Owens (6 Dec 1892 – 1967, married Glen A Owens); Eva Letha Adair (15 Dec 1896 – 2 Feb 1990), and Alice Adair (Dec 1899 – ?).
