Mrs. Mary M. Hill Died at Her Home Here Early This Morning

Following her husband within a few months, Mrs. Mary M. Hill, passed awau this morning at her home, 1724 Corning avenue, where her husband, E. L. Hill, died December 23, 1908. The funeral services will be held at her former residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will take place in Oakwood cemetery by the side of her husband.

Mary M. Dorsey was born in Rutland, Vermont, in 1844. She was a niece of ex-United States Senator Dorsey, of Vermont. A few years after her marriage with Mr. E. L. Hill, with her family she moved to Kansas in 1872, and since that time has made this city her home, and here she raised her family, consisting of two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Barnes, of this city, and Mrs. L. A. Heath, of Chircago, and one son, E. L. Hill, of Sapulpa, all of whom survive and mourn her death. Both daughters and son were by their mother's bedside when death came this morning at 5:30 o'clock.

No woman in Parsons was better known or loved than Mrs. Hill, and her death will be mourned in many homes in the city. Her long residence in Parsons, together with her sweet disposition had endeared her to many. For the past two years she has been in failing health, and since the death of her husband last December her decline has been rapid, and she has been unconscious since last Wednesday, the direct cause of her death being paralysis. She was a member of the Congregational church being one of the charter members of the church at this place, and lived the life of a Christian woman.
