In May of 2007, Dom received a bone marrow transplant. He entered remission, became an avid cyclist, and attended Kent State University. In September of 2008, Dom was diagnosed with another form of AML. He returned to Fairview, living and loving life passionately. He was admitted into the Cleveland Clinic in March and passed away April 13, 2009 surrounded by his family.
He is survived by parents Laura Wattling Jones and Lawrence Mase, a stepfather, Tom Jones, sister Sarah Mase, and brothers Zachary Jones and Anthony Mase.
