This young 13 year-old girl was buried just 6 months after Ann S. Goode, and there appears to be no familial connection. There is a theory that she may have been a patient of Dr. Thomas Goode's at the Homestead, Hot Springs, VA - where her parents had taken her for treatment and "the cure". If Ann S. Goode was Dr. Goode's daughter, he may have felt a special empathy & suggested or arranged Martha Ann's burial in the same area.
