Went to be with The Lord Saturday evening, August 4, 2007, surrounded by her family. Pauline was born June 15, 1924 in Augusta, Michigan, a daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Allbritton) Newbury. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and co-founded Sackett Brick Company with her husband. She was a member of First Assembly of God and was active in various church programs. She loved gardening and tending flowers at home and for her church. She also enjoyed traveling to see family and friends. Most of all, the joy of her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert G. Sackett on April 29, 2003; a son, Wesley Sackett; and two sisters, Sarah Bush and Virginia Sunnock. She is survived by six children, Sharon (Jim) Williams of Mammoth Lakes, CA, Tom (Carol) Sackett of Watervliet, MI, Louie (Marcia) Sackett of Kalamazoo, Tim Sackett of Vicksburg, Mike (Kathy) Sackett and Stan (Pam) Sackett, all of Kalamazoo; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Judy) Newbury of Hector, MN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday. Interment will be in Mt.
